The Fish & Wildlife Biologist I or II reports to the Resident Fish Program Habitat/Hydro Subdivision Lead. Independently implements professional biological studies or research. Provides analysis of fish, wildlife, lands or habitat management data. Assists in implementing a variety of projects, including habitat monitoring, restoration and population studies. Gathers and analyzes GIS data and conducts assessments of resident fish habitat and populations. May serve on inter-disciplinary teams to assist in managing key projects designed to protect and restore critical fish and wildlife habitat to sustain and enhance Tribal recreational, ceremonial and subsistence fisheries.
