WI Cooperative Fishery Research Unit, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
Position will coordinate technical and scientific support related to fish propagation systems for the Wisconsin Cooperative Fishery Research Unit (WICFRU) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ (WDNR) State Fish Hatchery system (WSFH). Specific duties include a) collecting and disseminating information in propagation science and economics, b) working with WICFRU, WDNR and other research partners to identify WSFH research needs, c) assist WSFH staff with experimental design, implementation, and analysis, d) conduct literature reviews, research or evaluations, d) reviewing and designing improved operational systems, and e) working with WSFH staff and WDNR administration to implement operational changes. M.S. in Natural Resources, or appropriate field is required, Ph.D. preferred.

M.S. in Natural Resources, or appropriate field is required, Ph.D. preferred. Two-plus years post-graduate (MS) experience in hatchery and fisheries management planning including knowledge of hatchery operations and at the State/Federal hatchery-level is preferred.
