Job: Professional Engineer

Provides engineering support in planning, designing, permitting and overseeing construction on a variety of projects related to the rehabilitation, protection and enhancement of fish and wildlife habitat. Conducts project development, alternatives analysis, and hydrological studies. Designs and oversee construction of projects directed at improving fish habitat conditions including bridges, culverts, weirs, jump pools, baffles, inverted vortex weirs, j-hook veins and other in-stream structures. Evaluates fish passage design alternatives, assesses costs, material, equipment needs and proposed construction methods. Oversees construction contractors and works cooperatively on interdisciplinary and interagency teams. May supervise one or more Engineers in Training.
MS Engineering, ABET School, WA PE License, Bondable, 48 months related experience OR;
BS Engineering, ABET School, WA PE License, Bondable, 60 months related experience.
