We seek a research associate to lead/assist in several quantitative fisheries projects involving stock assessment methods, harvest policy analysis, and ecological data analysis. You will lead/participate in the evaluation of stock assessment methods and in the development of quantitative fisheries courses. Specific work might include evaluation of appropriate levels of data aggregation in stock assessments, model complexity comparisons, and management strategy simulation models. Interest/experience with engaging agency personnel and stakeholders at the interface of technical analysis and resource management is desired, but not required.
