Conduct research related to developing sampling protocols for fishes in non-wadeable rivers in Missouri. The student is expected to conduct field work using jet boats and a variety of gears, collaborate with agency biologists, and generate a dissertation topic related to these efforts.
Ad Closing Date: review begins May 15 and until filled. Start date August 2013 or January 2014.
MS in fisheries or related program, GPA >3.2 in last 2 years; verbal and quantitative GRE scores >50%ile. Preferred candidates will have river sampling experience, ability to work with agencies, and record of presenting and publishing research.
