OK Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Rsch Unit, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater
This project focuses on the critical interactions of water quality and quantity. The objectives are to assess how reservoir releases influence water temperatures and the persistence of stream fishes. The project will include field, laboratory, and modeling components. The student associated with the project will be encouraged to develop additional objectives that complement the central theme of the assistantship.
i) A Master’s degree in biology, ecology, fisheries, hydrology, or related field, ii) basic skills using GIS, iii) strong quantitative skills, and iv) excellent written and oral communication skills.
