| Responsibilities | Conduct research on stress-mediated disease risks and novel pathogens associated with “Burbot” (Lota lota). The student is expected to develop a thesis/dissertation and publish results in appropriate high quality/impact journals. A student would ideally start in May/June of 2013. |
| Qualifications | Candidates with demonstrated written and oral communication skills and strong academic credentials are preferred. Applicant must be highly motivated and demonstrate a strong work ethic. For MS or PhD: must have a B.S. or MS in microbiology, fisheries, aquaculture or closely related field, respectively. The student must have a strong interest in Fish Health and/or Aquaculture research, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and GRE scores of at least 1100 (verbal + quantitative). |
