M.S. Assistantship on Cutthroat Trout Culture M.S. Graduate Assistantship in fish physiology/fish culture Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO
The student will participate in a 2-yr study on improving the culture of juvenile cutthroat trout. The culture portion of the study will be conducted at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Bozeman Fish Technology Center.
Required – B.S. degree in fisheries, aquaculture, biology, or related field; cumulative undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.0; combined average score > 70th percentile on the Verbal and Quantitative sections of the GRE; strong writing, analytical, and presentation skills. Desired – experience rearing fish under laboratory conditions; experience with fish culture/dietary studies.
