Responsibilities

M.S. Assistantship on Cutthroat Trout Culture
M.S. Graduate Assistantship in fish physiology/fish culture
Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO
 

The student will participate in a 2-yr study on improving the culture of juvenile cutthroat trout. The culture portion of the study will be conducted at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Bozeman Fish Technology Center.

Qualifications

Required – B.S. degree in fisheries, aquaculture, biology, or related field; cumulative undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.0; combined average score > 70th percentile on the Verbal and Quantitative sections of the GRE; strong writing, analytical, and presentation skills. Desired – experience rearing fish under laboratory conditions; experience with fish culture/dietary studies.
