M.S. Assistantship in Quantitative Fisheries
Student will investigate migration and mortality of Atlantic menhaden using a combination of mark-recapture models and simulation analyses. This Maryland Sea Grant-sponsored project features use of data from a large-scale (over 1 million fish marked) tagging study of Atl. menhaden. B.S. in fisheries or related field; Desired qualifications include background or interest in quantitative fish ecology, experience with mark-recapture models, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
