Three PhD and MSc research assistantships in Great Lakes ecology are available in the Department of Natural Resources, Cornell University and the Cornell Biological Field Station with starting dates as early as spring 2013. Topics include rehabilitation of cisco in Lake Ontario, dynamics of the deep chlorophyll layer and comparative ecology of mysid shrimps. All topics have implications to fish and fisheries. Accepted students will be part of a bi-national collaboration among federal, state/provincial and academic institutions in both the US and Canada.
