Responsibilities

Graduate Research Assistantship
Missouri Department of Conservation and Southeast Missouri State University
Student will be responsible for assessing sturgeon population characteristics in the Mississippi River. Student will be responsible for extensive laboratory time, disseminating results, preparing reports/publications and presenting at various meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in fisheries or wildlife science or a related field (GPA of greater than 3.0). Special skills desired but not required include familiarity with water quality, fish identification, fish aging, large river ecosystems, and boat operation.
