SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry
Participate in a large river fisheries research program on the St. Lawrence River beginning in spring 2013. Work with an interdisciplinary team in a partnership with government agencies. Research involves an intensive field and analytical effort toward restoration/enhancement effort for native fishes. Applicant must develop independent research in addition to fulfilling grant requirements.
BS in biology, fisheries, or aquatic sciences. Strong analytical and geospatial skills or potential preferred. The applicant must be highly motivated and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Experience with aquatic fieldwork and operation and trailering of boats preferred.
