Participate in a large river fisheries research program on the St. Lawrence River Work with an interdisciplinary team in a partnership with government agencies. The position requires experience with molecular biology (PCR). Research involves an intensive field and analytical effort toward restoration/enhancement effort for native fishes and investigating sex-ratio imbalance in the northern pike population with molecular laboratory methods. Applicant must develop independent research in addition to fulfilling grant requirements.

BS in biology, fisheries, or aquatic sciences. Evidence of strong past academic performance (GPA and GRE). Strong field, laboratory and analytical skills or potential preferred. The applicant must be highly motivated and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
