Develop and conduct study evaluating the influence of flow regime on the reproductive behavior, recruitment success, population structure, and habitat use of Blue Sucker in the lower Colorado River downstream of Austin, Texas. Successful applicant will use a variety of methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of proscribed water releases on Blue Suckers.
M.S. in fisheries, ecology or related field. Strong GRE scores and GPA. Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct field work. Experience with radio telemetry and/or population estimation/modeling a plus.
