Nebraska Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, which is housed in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska.
The successful candidate will assess the spatial dynamics of recreational angling within and among lakes. This MS position is part of a larger project investigating dynamic relationships between anglers and sportfishes; as such, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with other graduate students (MS and PhD) on this project.


The successful applicant will be highly motivated and possess strong work ethics, excellent communication skills, and passion for collaborative research. Applicants must be comfortable interacting with members of the general public while working outside at night in remote locations and adverse weather conditions. Familiarity with spatial assessments is a plus. Applicants should possess a B.S. in fisheries/ecology/biology or related field and possess a valid driver’s license.
