The research will focus on assessing aquatic assemblages (especially juveniles) in Blackbird Creek, Delaware and understanding the potential habitat degradation caused by an increase in the prevalence of non-native plants and changes in land use. A course in boat safety will be required. It will be expected for the potential graduate student/assistant to involve in outreach activities and also assist the supervisor with the classes.
Start date is Spring 2014.
Bachelor’s of Science Degree in biology, biological sciences, marine biology, fisheries, aquaculture, natural sciences, environmental sciences or related field; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. GRE score is required.
