Graduate assistantships (Ph.D., M.S.) available to examine patterns, drivers, and consequences of fish distribution and movement in streams, rivers, and reservoirs

The first research project examines patterns, drivers, and movements of young-of-year largemouth bass through a multi-lake, multi-season investigation of how variation in habitat, abiotic conditions, and prey affect size-specific survival, diet, and food web response (via isotopes).
In the second project, fish distribution, habitat, and movement data will be collected to create models that evaluate how climate and anthropogenic impacts affect water quality and supply.
