Fisheries Research Technicians (3)
Technicians will be responsible for assisting in multiple projects at the Big Rivers and Wetlands Field Station. Projects include but are not limited to Asian carp ecology, paddlefish exploitation, pallid sturgeon population dynamics, and grotto sculpin assessment. Technician will be responsible for leading field crews, maintaining field equipment, entering and analyzing data, report writing, and presenting information at various meetings.


Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in fisheries or wildlife science or a related field (GPA of greater than 3.0). Special skills desired but not required include familiarity with water quality, fish identification, large river ecosystems, and boat operation. We are looking for motivated individuals that need fisheries research experience and are planning to pursue a more advanced degree.
