The position coordinates and manages the statewide fisheries database including external contracts for development, training and use of the fisheries database; serves as the team leader for fisheries species management teams and database team; provides policy guidance for establishment of fisheries program plans.
Knowledge of fisheries biology & management; fisheries / aquatic sampling techniques; Quantitative fisheries techniques including fisheries data analysis methods and modeling; Database development and structure; relational and hierarchical databases; commonly used database software such as Access and Oracle. Fisheries degree or related field.
