Full-time, benefited, 12-month position.

Incumbent is responsible for the year-round operation of the Humboldt State University recirculating Fish Hatchery used for instruction and research. Incumbent will supervise the fish rearing/recirculating water system, supervise student assistants, perform administrative duties; ensure continuous operation of pumps, filters, and related equipment; prepare hatchery for laboratory sessions; assist with research projects; meet instructional needs; maintain records; coordinate tours and activities, provide technical advice on trout rearing; and coordinate with California Department of Fish and Game.
Anticipated start date is April 15, 2013.

Must have knowledge of Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) protocols.
