Responsibilities

Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation – DNR Fisheries Program, Mission, OR
Responsible for strategic program development and supervision of the Fisheries Habitat Program. Under direction of the Fisheries Program Manager, supervise Project Leaders in project design and implementation to protect and restore native aquatic communities in Umatilla, John Day, Grande Ronde, Walla Walla and Tucannon subbasins in Northeast Oregon and Southeast Washington. Duties and responsibilities include: supervision; project development and implementation; external collaboration; data collection and analysis; and policy decision support.

Qualifications

BS Degree or higher (graduate degree preferred) in a natural resources related discipline; seven years minimum experience relevant to the position with two years of supervision implementing restoration projects and a demonstrable understanding of aquatic ecosystems.
