A full time, 12 month, exempt position under the supervision of the Hatchery Manager a Fish Culturist II assists in development and implementation of hatchery goals. A hands on supervisory role over permanent and seasonal employees, carrying out the tasks as assigned by the Hatchery Manager. Good personnel management skills and a demonstrated ability to be an effective leader are essential. Operational duties include incubation, salt and freshwater rearing, egg-takes, harvest, sampling and data gathering.

Prefer a four year degree in fisheries science or related degree or three years of experience at a cold water fish hatchery. Applicants should be motivated, energetic, physically fit and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
