Job: Fish Biologist

Designs and implements monitoring of fish populations’ response to managed landscapes in the Olympic Experimental State Forest, WA: lead a project, organize and prioritize workload, supervise field staff, and work in a team environment.
BS and three years of research work experience in fish ecology (a Master’s degree will substitute for two years and PhD will substitute for all of the required experience, provided the field of major study was in fish biology, ecology or conservation); working knowledge of anadromous salmonid ecology; experience with research methods in fish ecology and population biology; knowledge of statistical theory and experience with statistical techniques and GIS.
