The Biologist II works under the direction of the Fish, Wildlife and Water Quality Department’s Fisheries Program Supervisor(s) to implement and monitor programs and studies required by the terms and conditions of Grant PUD’s 2008 FERC License Order, including fish, wildlife and water quality provisions.
The Biologist II must effectively and efficiently assist with data collection, data entry/analysis, and report preparation associated with Grant PUD’s wildlife, water quality, fisheries, and hatchery and habitat programs associated with Grant PUD’s FERC license requirements to protect, mitigate and enhance the aquatic and terrestrial resources of the Priest Rapids Project. The Biologist II provides assistance during monitoring and evaluation studies, technical analyses, technical report preparation, and effectively interacts with internal project teams, external agency, and technical representatives.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Fisheries or related Environmental Sciences and a minimum of two years of experience is required.
