Responsibilities

Assistant Professor, Aquatic Physiological Ecology, 50% Teaching, 50% Research. School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR). Full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position.
contribute to the SENR’s teaching and advising programs in the Fisheries & Aquatic Sciences, Wildlife, and Forestry programs; participate in the Environmental Science and Ecological Restoration programs; research physiological ecology of organisms in lake ecosystems; specific research is open, but particularly interested in comparative, developmental, ecological, and/or evolutionary approaches; & develop externally funded research program, attract outstanding graduate students, and be committed to undergraduate education.

Qualifications

Ph.D. with strong academic background in aquatic physiological ecology; ability to work with human and socioeconomic dimensions; excellent verbal and written communication; willingness and ability to work in teams; postdoctoral experience with state and federal agencies, & demonstrated teaching expertise.
