Cook Inlet Aquaculture Assoc
Assist the Hatchery Manager with the rearing and stocking of sockeye and coho salmon at Trail Lakes Hatchery located on the road system at Moose Pass. Duties include the collection of broodstock and gametes at various satellite lakes, incubation and rearing of sockeye and coho fry/smolt, transport and stocking at remote lakes as well as assisting with the oversight of a net pen site (Resurrection Bay) and a weir facility at Bear Lake. Also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Supervision of up to 6 full-time/seasonal employees required. Maintenance of hatchery production data.
Three years experience at fish culturist level or more, with 2 years working experience with sockeye salmon. Must demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills. Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
