Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Crew Leader (up to 7 positions) will assist with Wyoming Aquatic Invasive Species Program activities including outreach, watercraft inspections, and monitoring. Duties may include supervising and conducting physical watercraft inspections and decontaminations, hiring, training, and supervising watercraft inspectors, providing outreach information and assistance to the public, water quality and invasive species sampling, data entry and analysis, and report writing.
Must be able to work well independently and with others. Requires effective written and oral communication and public relations skills. Experienced in the operation of watercraft, 4wd vehicles, and pulling trailers. Aquatic invasive species knowledge/experience preferred. Weekend and holiday work will be required. Position may require extensive statewide travel. Must have a valid driver’s license.
