Strategic planning and oversight for a large Tribal Anadromous Fisheries Division with 40 staff members and a $17 million dollar budget. Develops, directs, evaluates and manages on and off-Reservation anadromous fisheries programs including habitat assessments, restoration activities, biological studies, research, monitoring and evaluation activities, hydro, hatchery and harvest management. Develops and implements multi-year project plans in support of a traditional subsistence and ceremonial fishery. As a Columbia River anadromous fisheries co-manager, frequently interacts with regional and national level managers in federal, state, county and Tribal agencies. Will oversee start-up of new $60 million Chinook Salmon hatchery on the Columbia River.
Minimum qualification for PM II: BS Fisheries Management (or related degree) and 60 months related professional experience. See link below for additional education and experience combinations.
