These graduate research assistantships (2) will be funded through the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks to evaluate the effectiveness of Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) easements in the James River region of South Dakota which aim at improving environmental quality (e.g., runoff) and benefiting fauna of Conservation Concern. Students associated with these projects will be encouraged to develop independent research projects that complement the central objectives of their research assistantships.
