Assist with channel catfish sampling in Ohio reservoirs. This project requires field sampling in June for adults and autumn for juveniles. Laboratory and computer work will occur when not in the field. One of the two incumbents will serve as the head technician, which may allow for involvement in data analysis, manuscript writing, and student mentorship.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or plan on graduating this May in biological sciences or a related field. Must be able to conduct field sampling from a boat in rough conditions, be flexible enough to spend long days and/or nights sampling, and be capable of performing standard laboratory procedures.
