Thesis research will evaluate the role of tributaries as recruitment sources for largemouth bass in the lower Ohio River using fin ray microchemistry. Assist with field sampling for other sport fish projects on the Ohio River.
B.S. in Fisheries or related field. Ability to work independently and with a team; strong communication and analytical skills. Experience with fish sampling in large rivers desirable but not required. Applicants must meet admission requirements for the graduate school and Department of Zoology at SIUC.
