Responsibilities

M.S. Graduate Research Assistantship – Reproductive Endocrinology and Induced Spawning
The successful applicant will evaluate select spawning hormones and their performance within freshwater finfish. The primary focus of these investigations will determine the reproductive biology of both established species and potential species in order to develop practical reproduction and rearing methodology. Field and laboratory studies will be used to perform this research.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree within biological sciences, zoology, wildlife and fisheries or related field. GRE scores are required for the application and applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of a 3.0. Experience with biochemistry and aquatic research is preferred but not required.
