Gwen has demonstrated consistent and impressive leadership at all levels of AFS. She exemplifies the qualities of loyalty, dedication, and commitment to AFS programs, objectives, and goals. Her length of service to the society and the diversity of her service activities are exceptional. Gwen’s service to AFS includes unit leadership, but her contributions go beyond that to helping other unit leaders craft a unit vision and an implementation plan that encompasses the society’s vision. Her talents as a parliamentarian and facilitator permeate every level of involvement she has with AFS, its units, and its committees. We have long benefited from her skill in helping others identify and articulate goals and objectives.
